There were no heroes. There were whispers of beings with extraordinary powers and astonishing talents, but their existence is lumped together with that of the alligators in the sewers of New York or the Man with the Hook. Tall Tales. Folklore. Urban Legends.

Wouldn't the world be a scary place if people could rip things apart with their bare hands? If they could invade the minds of people everywhere? What if they could cause earthquakes, potentially leveling an entire city block?

The world wasn't ready for us. They didn't know about us. But they do now. With two years passed, some still react to us in fear - we try to protect ourselves from that group. Others embrace us and our efforts to fight for those who can't fight for themselves.

The Academy of Tomorrow still stands, giving mutants normal lives, prepare future heroes for uncertain times, and giving society the chance to change their minds about the people they fear so much. An expected battle may come sooner than anyone realizes, and we might be the only ones able to stop it.
